(18) Celadon blue Coturnix quail hatching eggs. We select only the best quality blue eggs to ship. Some may have small speckles,
but the majority are a clear aqua marine blue. Celadon blue eggs yield blue egg layers, some non-blue layers, and males that
carry the blue egg gene.
Our Birds
We keep separate breeding pens for each type and color of bird. Our quail are raised in deep litter pens, which replicates
the ground they would live on in wild. To insure egg fertility, we maintain a breeding ration of 1 male for every 3 hens.
Our Blue Flock
Our flock of Celadon blue layers has the widest variety of colors. We have equal numbers of Pastel, Buff, Scarlet, Tuxedo,
Tibetan, Brown, and Silver blue layers. Currently we only sell Pastel and Silver Blue separately. All other Celadon blue orders
will include an assortment of colors.
Egg Quality
We take care to preserve the viability of our eggs. Eggs will be clean but unwashed. We collect eggs twice daily and ship
eggs the same day they are laid. We also do weekly hatches to test viability.
Shipping
Eggs are shipped in foam egg shippers and bubble wrap via USPS Priority mail. We ship strategically to assure you receive
the freshest eggs possible. We generally ship Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, depending on the location and
shipping speed. If you have special handling or ship date requests, please contact us and we will be glad to help. Although
most packages are delivered unscathed, mail delays, rough handling, x-ray, or exposure to extreme temperatures while in transit
may damage the viability of hatching eggs. We strive to offer the best customer service possible. If you experience any of
these issues, please feel free to contact us. ***We guarantee our eggs and offer reshipment if eggs are in transit longer
than 6 days or if eggs loose viability due to unfavorable shipping conditions.***
